Event Date: 28th November 2021
The Hereward Relay is a relay team event held in November, off-road over fields, bridleways and tracks consisting of four stages. Starting from Peterborough Athletic track, with hand over points at Whittlesey, March and Welney, finishing in Ely covering an overall distance of 39 miles.
Leg 1 – Peterborough to Whittlesey (6.9m)
Leg 2 – Whittlesey to March (10.5m)
Leg 3 – March to Welney (11.5m)
Leg 4 – Welney to Ely (10.9m)
Each team will need to make arrangements to travel together along the course, either sharing the driving or using a non-running support driver.
Prizes:
First Three Teams and First two Ladies Teams.
Individual prizes to 1st Man and 1st Vet Man, 1st Lady and 1st Vet Lady in each stage.
Memento for all finishers.
Refreshments – Hot Food, teas and coffee at Welney and Ely. Water stops at change-over points.
Parking and toilets at all change-over points.
