Club Vests

When representing the club in a running event you must wear the registered Club Vest or T-Shirt with black shorts or leggings.  You may wear a black shirt underneath the vest.  Striders Club Vests are available to purchase from the Kit Shop (link below).

We now also have a race Club T-shirt to complement our race vest, and this can also be ordered from the Kit Shop.

Club Race Vest – £24.00
Club Race T-shirt – £30.00 (Juniors £24.00)

The vest is available in junior and senior sizes, with a straight or racerback option for ladies, and straight back only for men. The club does not make any profit on club vest sales and sells strictly at cost.  These can only be ordered through the Kit Shop.

Sizes available:

• Juniors – ages 7/8 (27”), 9/10 (29”), and 11/12 (31”)
• Ladies – size 8 to 16 (XS to XL)
• Mens – 36” to 42” (S to XL)

Note: These vests are true to size, so please order whatever size you would normally wear.  Vests can be ordered larger than the above sizes, but will take approx. a month for delivery.  Please ask the Kit Officer.

 

Our new Kit Shop is….. HERE!

Our kit is managed and printed by the local supplier Suffolk Insignia in Woolpit.  Aside from the normal club vest we have a selection of different kit that you can choose from.   Tops are printed with the Striders logo, and you have the option to have your name added as well at an additional cost.

Just click on the Kit Shop link above and log in or set up an account the first time you use the site (If you are prompted for just a password, enter “suffolkinsignia”.)  You must be logged in to be able to add items to the cart. Items can be posted to you or collected from Woolpit.

We have short sleeve technical t-shirts, long sleeve technical t-shirts, training vests and zip up hoodies, in a range of sizes.  The t-shirts come in either black with yellow writing, or yellow with black writing.  The hoodies are black with yellow writing. We also have Junior short sleeve technical t-shirts and zip up hoodies in the same colours.  Should you wish it, there is the option to have your name added for an additional £3.60 (at time of order only).

Juniors Pre-Loved Club Vests

We have a Club Vest Exchange for Juniors where you can exchange your pre-loved Junior club vest for a larger size as your child grows – this is obviously dependent on whether we have the pre-loved size you need available at the time, but hopefully this will reduce the cost considerably for parents whose children train with the club long-term.  Please help us by donating any vests that you/your child have grown out of, or no longer want.

Please note all club members, including Juniors, will need to wear an official Club Vest and black shorts/running tights to compete in any races as a Strider.

How the Vest Exchange works:

• If you want a pre-loved vest, and we have the size you need in the Vest Exchange, then pre-loved vests will cost £10.00 to junior club members (rather than £20 for buying new).
• If you have a vest to exchange, and we have your new size available in pre-loved stock, then you can swap your old vest (must be in good condition) for the new size preloved one for £5.00.
• Please speak to a Junior Coach if the cost of a vest is preventing your child from having one.
